Based in a Hatha style of yoga, focusing on breath, mindfulness and body alignment, classes also include elements of Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative and Yin Yoga.

 
 

SHANTI - Open Level (beginner-friendly)

Building on the confidence that comes with continued practice, additional asanas will be taught in this class, emphasizing the development of core strength, a clearer understanding of center and increased flexibility.  Breath awareness as it relates to movement will also be explored to achieve a more contemplative and relaxed practice.

YIN YOGA

Practicing deep stretching can promote greater circulation of energy through the energy channels of the body.  Unlike other styles of yoga, Yin focuses on the deep stretch of the connective tissue.  Poses can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs.  Complimenting more active styles of yoga, this class can also prepare you for deeper meditative practices

FLOW BARRE

This one hour class combines yoga and floor barre, taking the ballet barre to the floor.  Used by professional dancers to strengthen during and after an injury, this method has become popular not only with dancers but athletes and anyone wanting to developed balanced strength and prevent future injuries. 

SAMSKARA - 30 min. Open Level

Many people are familiar with the benefits that a yoga practice can provide, but find it difficult to fit it into their day. This class is designed to make your practice work for you, and with your busy schedule. The focus in these classes will be on expanding energy and improving mental clarity and calm.  All levels welcome.

PRANA - Open Level (intermediate)

 This open-level class explores a wide variety of yoga poses integrating them to create a balanced practice.   Mindfulness and body awareness as you challenge yourself on a daily basis will also be cultivated in this class.
